INEOS Grenadiers Partner with Iconic Coffee Brand Café de Colombia
The partnership will see Café de Colombia become INEOS Grenadiers’ Official Coffee Partner as part of a move that marks the return of one of cycling’s most loved brands to the highest level of the sport.
Café de Colombia will be integrated into the INEOS Grenadiers team environments both on and off race, as an important part of the team’s daily rhythm.
Backed by more than 560,000 coffee-growing families across 23 producing departments, Café de Colombia, the flagship brand of the Colombian Coffee Growers Federation, is recognised globally as a symbol of origin, quality and craftsmanship.
Brokered by INEOS Grenadiers’ Exclusive Sales Agency, SPORTFIVE, the partnership seeks to further reinforce the international positioning and prestige of Colombian coffee, across key global markets.
Speaking on the partnership, Lee Goldwater, Managing Director, SPORTFIVE UK, said: “We are proud to have helped facilitate the partnership between INEOS Grenadiers and Café de Colombia.
“This partnership reflects a natural association between two culturally aligned brands, that have a powerful story to tell together on the role of coffee and cycling in connecting people and building communities. We look forward to seeing the first stages of this exciting collaboration come to life.”
John Allert, INEOS Grenadiers CEO, said: “We are delighted to officially welcome Café de Colombia to the team. Coffee is synonymous with cycling and has a unique way of bringing people together. This partnership reflects that - and connects two organisations defined by consistency, precision and a shared commitment to quality.
“Our team has a strong connection to Colombia through its riders, and we are continually inspired by the huge support we receive from fans there and around the world. The passion for riders such as Egan Bernal and Brandon Rivera is something we feel at every race.
“Success in our sport is built on the strength of the overall environment, and working with trusted partners who align with our standards is an important part of that. Café de Colombia has a rich heritage and global reputation, and we look forward to working together.”
Germán Bahamón, CEO of the Colombian Coffee Growers Federation, added: “This alliance represents much more than a partnership. It is a strategic platform to showcase the quality, origin and values of Colombian coffee to the world. We want consumers to recognise Café de Colombia as a natural part of an active lifestyle.”
"Café de Colombia first established an iconic presence in professional cycling during the 1980s, bringing a generation of riders to the global stage. This partnership marks a return to the sport - reconnecting that heritage with one of cycling's most successful teams.”
